The moderator controls which participant has Show rights. When an Instant Meeting starts, the moderator is automatically in Show Mode, and can then grant Show rights to other participants. The participant in Show mode can choose which applications to show, and can stop sharing his screen at any time.
The moderator can grant Show rights to a different participant at will.
Participants in Watch mode see the shared screen in the Instant Meeting window.
In the Session panel Show mode
column, the moderator selects the participant
who will show his or her screen. A black screen will appear briefly in
the Instant Meeting window for all participants.
The selected participant will be asked to confirm screen sharing and can choose which applications to share using the Application selection settings.
When the participant in Show mode clicks OK,
all the meeting participants see the selected applications in the Instant
Meeting window. The participant in Show mode is indicated by the Show
mode icon
in the
Session panel participants list.
The moderator can grant Show rights to a different participant at any time.
The participant in Show mode can click Watch
in the Mini-panel to stop sharing the screen. The Instant meeting window
will remain black until the moderator grants Show rights to another participant.
While you are in Watch mode, use the pointer to draw other participants' attention to specific areas of the screen, for example an incorrect number in a calculation. You do not need remote control rights to do this.
Click in the Instant Meeting window or move the mouse cursor while pressing the left mouse button. All participants will see the pointer with your name.
