If you have Owner or Author access to a workspace, you can replace a workspace file with a file from your local system. This provides a means for updating or changing the content of any workspace file.
You can only replace workspace files, not workspace maps.
When you replace a file, the new file is uploaded to the workspace and the original file is immediately destroyed. All the attributes of the original file are retained, and links to the file remain functional. If the file you upload has a different name, you can choose to use either the name of the original workspace file or the name of the uploaded file.
You cannot replace a workspace file with an empty file, a file that exceeds the MindManager Web size limit, or a MindManager map.
In the Workspaces window, Documents list, select a file.
In
the Documents list pull-down
menu , click Replace.
Right-click the file name, and then click Replace.
In the dialog, select the file you want to upload, and then click Open.
If the name of the file you've selected to upload is different than the name of the file you are replacing, you can choose to use the old name (current workspace file name) or the new name (uploaded document name).
If you replace a file with a file of
a different type, the new file name extension is automatically used to
ensure that the file opens in its native application for viewing.
When you replace a workspace file
using MindManager Web, the original workspace file is immediately destroyed,
and its content is no longer accessible. If you want to make a copy of
the file prior to replacing it, you can use MindManager for Windows to
create a revision or save a copy of the file.
