Mindjet ProjectDirector is a web-based application that helps people and teams get work done, in the cloud and across devices. People use Mindjet to manage projects, generate ideas, organize information, and store and share files, maximizing the power of collaboration.
Mindjet ProjectDirector lets you organize your work into projects. A project is a collection of assets:
People who are invited to work on the project. Each person has a role in the project, and can be assigned permissions for individual project folders, maps, and files.
A Task List with individual project tasks. Each task is assigned to a person and includes dates and progress information. Tasks can also include comments and attachments.
Maps for planning and other information. These can be stored in folders within the project.
Files with additional project information. These can also be stored in folders within the project.
An account is a collection of projects that you either own or you have been invited to join.
When you sign up for ProjectDirector, you are owner of the account you just created. Someone else can also invite you to join their ProjectDirector account as a member or Guest.
Within each account, you may belong to one or more projects.
The Mindjet ProjectDirector main toolbar lets you access the 3 ProjectDirector views, learning resources, and your contacts and profile
Projects view shows all your projects and the Tasks, Maps and Files, and people associated with each project. Projects can have folders for online content management and file storage. You can create and manage projects, tasks, maps and files from this view. You can also add and remove people from projects, and set their permissions for projects and their content.
Tasks view displays all the Task Lists for your projects. Here, you can manage project members and tasks, see your tasks on a calendar, or track the status of your project on a summary graph.
Library view shows a list of your projects and their folders as well as independent folders (not associated with a particular project) that include all the maps and files you can access. You can create and manage folders, maps and files from this view, and set permissions.

Profile lets you manage your personal profile, your tasks settings, your account, your contacts, and Log Out from ProjectDirector.
