To switch to Priority view from another
view, click Priority in the View
tab Document Views group.
To return to Map view, click Map
View on the Priority
view tab.
Drag the task from the Uncategorized column to a priority column.
Drag the task from its current priority column to another priority column.
You can also navigate through Priority view efficiently using the keyboard:

Move to the next or previous topic, callout or subtopic. Use this method to visit each topic on the map in order of priority. Floating topics and callouts attached to relationship lines are skipped. |

There are several ways to orient Priority view.
Do one of the following:
On the Status
Bar drag the Zoom Factor slider |
Or | On the View tab, in the Zoom pull down, click the Zoom In / Zoom Out buttons, or click Fit Map. |
On the View tab, in the Zoom pull down, click a value in the Zoom Factor box, or enter a value and press ENTER. |
For wheel-mouse users hold the CTRL key and use the wheel to zoom in and out.

On the Priority View tab, in the Topic Formatting group, click Hide.
On the Priority View tab, click More Options.
Uncheck the "Show Unprioritized" box.
On the Priority View tab, click More Options.
Check the Show Subtopics Icon box.
On the Priority View tab, click Collapse button in the column header. To show the column, click the Expand button.
On the Priority View tab, in the Legend Location group, choose Bottom or Top.
On the Priority View tab, click More Options.
Click the Sort Topics drop-down, and choose one of the following:
Alphabetical
Map Order
By Start Date
By Due Date
