Select
a document in the Documents list, click the Workspace Manager Button 
, and then click Save a Copy.
In the Documents list, right-click the document you want to save, and then click Save a Copy.
Applies to MindManager used with Mindjet Connect.
It is most efficient to remain connected to Mindjet Connect while you are working with workspace documents. If you wish to continue to work with workspace documents when a connection is not available:
While you are still connected to Mindjet Connect you can save local copies of the workspace documents, then edit these after you disconnect.
If you are no longer connected, you can still access locally-cached documents, make copies of these, and then edit the local copies.
When you re-connect, you can import the modified documents to the workspace as new documents, and remove the originals.
Do one of the following:
Select
a document in the Documents list, click the Workspace Manager Button
, and then click Save a Copy.
In the Documents list, right-click the document you want to save, and then click Save a Copy.
Specify the name and location for the local copy.
If you have a workspace map open,
you can make a local copy from the MindManager window:
Click the MindManager Button 
, click the Save As arrow,
then click MindManager Map. Choose
a location on your local system for the copy of the map.
While you are connected to the Mindjet Connect server, documents that you view or edit are automatically copied to a cache on your local system.
When you disconnect from Mindjet Connect, locally-cached documents show active (colored) document icons. Documents that were not cached show inactive (gray) icons.
The cached documents are read-only, but you can make local copies of them using the steps above, and work with these copies.
Check the Local Copy status of workspace files before you disconnect to ensure that you have up-to-date versions of the files you want to edit. If the Local Copy column shows the file is Out of Date, a newer version of this file exists on the server. To update the local copy you must view the file while you are still connected.
You can empty the document cache at any time using the MindManager Temporary Files option.
When you re-connect to the server you can import the modified local copies of the documents into workspaces as new documents. To avoid confusion, you may want to remove the original documents.
If you remove the originals, their previous revisions will also be lost.
