You can create a new map using a favorite Map Template or Map Style, or from other Map Templates and Map Styles shown in the Template Organizer. You can choose which Map Templates and Map Styles to show as favorites.
Do one of the following in the MindManager window:
On
the Quick Access Toolbar, click
the New arrow .
Click
the MindManager Button and
point to New.
Click From Template or Style.
Press CTRL+N.
Do one of the following:
On the Map Templates tab choose a Map Template to use as the basis for the new map
On the Map Style tab select a map style to use for the new map, then click OK.
A new map is created in the style you selected.
Do one of the following in the Workspace Manager window
On
the Quick Access Toolbar, click
the New arrow .
Click
the Workspace Manager Button and
point to New.
Click From Template or Style .
If you choose a Map Template with an active wizard attached you will be prompted for the information to fill in the template. See Using map wizards for more details.
In the New Map dialog, on the Map Templates or Map Styles tab do one of the following:
Click Add Map Template or Add Map Style and select the template to add to the selection of favorites that appear on these tabs.
Mindjet Catalyst - If you want to add a Map Template or Map Style to the favorites from a file that is stored in a workspace, you must first save the file (.mmas or .mmat file) locally, then add the template from the local file to the favorites.
Right-click on the style or template preview, then click Rename, Modify, or Remove.
You cannot Rename, Modify, or Remove the Map Template New Blank Map or the Map Style Default .
On the Tools tab, in the Templates group, click Map Templates.
On the template Organizer's Map Templates tab select the template you want to use.
Click New Map. A new map will begin using the template you selected.
If you don't see the Map Template you want to use, you can add the template to the Organizer.
