Once you have created the map, you can save it as a template using the Map Template Organizer. This is the easiest method for saving templates, and it helps keep your templates organized.
If, however, you want to save a template in a different folder or to a Mindjet Connect workspace (to make it available to other people, for example) you can use the Save As command instead.
Click
the MindManager Button
, click the Save
As arrow, and then click MindManager
Map Template.
In the Save As dialog, choose a Save in location, enter the File name, then click Save.
If this is a new template, you may see the Properties Summary page where you can enter comments and other information about the template. When you click OK, the template is saved.
Mindjet Connect - You can save a template to a workspace by using these steps, by choosing Workspaces as the Save in location, then selecting a workspace.
if you save the template to a workspace, you'll continue working on the original document after you save. Any changes you make will only affect the original and not the new template.
To send a copy of a local template to a workspace instantly, open the template, then right-click the template background. Click Send to workspace, then click the workspace name. The local template remains open.
