Applies to MindManager used with Mindjet Catalyst.
MindManager can be used with the Mindjet Catalyst service for sharing and collaboration by creating shared maps and files.
To use MindManager for Windows for sharing and collaboration you must be a Mindjet Catalyst account member. When you sign in to your account using MindManager, its Mindjet Catalyst collaboration features are automatically enabled.
Once connected, you can create or open a workspace.
Within the workspace you can:
Add documents to the workspace by creating new maps and files on-the-fly, by importing existing documents, or by using MindManager to save documents into the workspace. These documents are stored in workspaces on the MindManager server and are available to all workspace members.
Add or remove workspace members and control their access levels to the workspace.
View and edit shared maps and files. While editing a map you will see your own changes as well as those of any other members who are editing the map.
Create revisions of documents.
Collaborate by co-editing maps or by using chat, or start an web conference to navigate and edit maps and other documents together in real time.
You can continue to use MindManager to create local maps for your own use, whether you are connected to the Mindjet Catalyst server or working offline. These maps are stored as files on your computer, not in workspaces on the Mindjet Catalyst server. Local maps can be imported into workspaces for sharing, or kept as local maps for individual use.
